Corrections - Apologies
Wednesday, May 19, 2010 • Posted May 19, 2010

Some days, it just doesn't pay to get out of bed!

Last week's issue of the News seemed to have been plagued with gremlins, and I apologize to all, our readers and those involved, for the errors.

A listing of the errors:

Scott Zesch is a musical COMPOSER, though I suspect he may also be a composter at times.

Carol Conlee's husband is CRAIG, not David, though his middle name is Davis.

Oleta Kuhlmann's photo ended up on her sister-in-law Lela's obituary by accident. Fortunately, Mrs. Kuhlmann has a wonderful sense of humor and has forgiven us.

Mildred (Mimi) Eckert's married name is CARDER, not Corder. Also, it was the Congressional GOLD medal, not the Medal of Honor, though we salute her with just as much respect and admiration.

And, finally, the election results were supposed to have been in last week's issue; but, are just now making it into print.

Again, our apologies for these errors.
