Ramon Family Foundation Announces 2010 Scholarship Recipients

The family of Gilberto Ramon established the annual Gilberto Ramon Memorial Scholarship Program to provide financial assistance to graduating seniors pursuing a higher education after graduation. In May 2010 the Ramon Family Foundation will award a total of $15,000 in scholarships. THIRTEEN (13) one-time monetary scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each will be awarded to a select list of 2010 high school graduates and two (2) Continuing Education scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 will be awarded to 2009 scholarship recipients.

The 2010 scholarship recipients are:

Adrian Hysten - Warren High School

Tyler Ybarra - Warren High School

Michelle Rangel - Lanier High School

Vanessa Vasquez - Kennedy High School

Maria Urbina - Lanier High School

Edgar Hernandez - Lanier High School

Miriam Hernandez - Lanier High School

Benjamin Morales - Mason High School

Jasmine Hernandez - Lanier High School

Natalie Ibarra - Lanier High School

Rachel Collett - Mason High School

Chun Yin Ho - Warren High School

Jeremy Garcia - Business Careers High School

The 2010 Continuing Education scholarship recipients are:

Jessica Diaz de Tuesta - Texas A&M University

Joel M. Villarreal - Texas A&M University

The Ramon Family Foundation congratulates each student and their parents for the hard work and value each has placed on their preparation to become successful citizens and the leaders of the next generation.
