What Are Summer Nutrition Programs???
Wednesday, May 26, 2010 • Posted May 26, 2010

The Summer Nutrition Programs provide nutritious meals at no charge to all children age 18 and younger at participating feeding sites. To participate, just show up. You don’t need to register or get meal tickets and no one will ask for proof of income or age.

Children need good food all year long, even when they are not in school. The Summer Food Service Program provides healthy meals at no charge to children age 18 and younger at the Mason ISD Cafeteria.

Your children get the food they need to fuel up for summer fun so they can learn, play, and grow when they are not in school.

Your children will be served breakfast at 7:30 am to 7:50 am, lunch at 11:30-11:50. The children can have meals at no charge each day, and you will have more money left to buy food for the whole family.

Mason ISD will serve meals with milk or juice and bread daily. All meals will meet federal nutrition standards. If you have any questions concerning this please contact Betty Simon, 347-1122 ext 248 or come by the cafeteria.

Have a wonderful Summer.
