45th Reunion for Class of 1965
Wednesday, June 2, 2010 • Posted June 2, 2010

The Mason High School class of 1965 gathered at Richard and Joan Kettner Lindley's ranch off the Kettner/Willman Road in Mason, Texas, on Saturday, May 22, 2010, for their forty-fifth class reunion. A great time of sharing memories and a barbecue meal was enjoyed by all who attended. As always, Manuel Martinez did a great job cooking the brisket. Charles Kettner (lives in Delaware) received the award for traveling 1700 miles and was the one who traveled the farthest to attend. Kenneth Roeder traveled from Florida which was second place for traveling the farthest. Forty-two classmates and twenty-nine other guests totaling 71 were in attendance. The class members who are deceased, a total of twelve, were also remembered. There were visitors form other graduating classes and three moms even came to share the fun time and activities. Those class members in attendance decided to gather again in three years instead of waiting five years for the next reunion. Jennifer Dannheim Brinlee and Peggy Kuykendall Lohn will be in charge of planning the next event.
