Lamplight Designs Art Competition Reception and Winners

Mason High School art students were honored with a closing reception on Wednesday, May 19th at the Northside Café for the 6th Annual Lamplight Designs Art Competition. Family and friends were on hand to view 51 entries displaying a wide range of medium.

First place winner was freshman Urbano Guerrero with his self portrait in oil titled, "Real Feelings," second place went to junior Ben Bjork for his ceramic mask titled, "Sun God", third place was awarded to freshman Andrea Balderas for her self portrait in oil titled, "Opposite of Happy." Honorable Mention went to junior Marina Lopez for her self portrait in oil titled, "Me."

Judges for the competition were Deborah Hoffman, Debbie Armstrong and Victoria Fikes, owner Northside Café. The awards were presented by Deborah Hofmann , owner and marketing specialist for Lamplight Designs.
