Emergency Disaster Declaration

WHEREAS, the County of Mason on the 24th day of May, 2010 has suffered widespread and severe damage and loss of property resulting from excessive rainfall, flooding and high winds, and;

WHEREAS, the Judge of the County of Mason has determined that extraordinary measures must be taken to alleviate the suffering of people and to protect or rehabilitate property;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE JUDGE OF THE COUNTY OF MASON:

1. That a state of disaster is declared for the County of Mason.

2. That the County's Emergency Management has been implemented.

3. That this state of disaster shall continue for a period of not more than seven days of the date hereof, unless the same is continued by consent of the Commissioners Court of the County of Mason, Texas.

4. That this proclamation shall take effect immediately from and after its issuance.
