Enjoy these beautiful days that God has made!

Happy birthday wishes go to Ron Fritze on June 11th. And happy anniversary wishes go to Wayne and Kathy Jordan on June 11th, to Steve and Karen Toone on June 12th, to Chris and Emily Rhodes on their first anniversary on June 13th and to Scott and Kacie Ceynowa on June 17th. May these days be very special to all of you.

It was good to see David Stubbs in church. He reported that his wife Sandy was healing after knee surgery. Kathy Jordan continues to heal after her knee operation. And it is always great to have Jack and Dorothy Asbill worship with us. Other visitors were Lori Slocum playing the organ and Marie Mutis playing her violin.

Continue to pray for Andrew Kothmann, Anna Grace Durst, Etta Marie Mutschink and Pearl Leifeste. And also pray for Jane Krause.

Brenda Kothmann reported that her grandson, Kyle, son of Brad and Brandy Kothmann, is having a difficult time dealing with the sudden death of a friend. We all never understand why a friend is suddenly gone and we will never see them again. But we know that God is caring for him and we can find comfort in knowing that God is in control.

Tyra Jordan announced that vacation Bible School will be the week of July 5th. As before, the Art church will provide all of the food and snacks for the week so, give generously for this great project.

Our guest speaker this week because Pastor Mark and Barbara Krause are on vacation, was Joe King, a Lay Speaker from Brady. Joe read John’s creation story from John 1:1. This is the Word of God in action, written in truth. Joe titled his speech "The Impeccable Word", meaning without sin.

God created us in His image. He made the world by combining atoms to make everything there is on the world. His "Word" and His power are real. Our words are also powerful depending on how we speak them. We know that God’s words are always good and prefect. The power of God is the spark of life. We have that power from our conception.

The words we express are from our spirit. We can create an effect in everything we do. We are what we think about, what we believe. Our actions have an effect on others and even on us. John 8:32 reads: "And you will know the Truth; and the Truth will set you free".

Speak the truth. The Truth is knowing God and freedom comes from knowing the Truth. Sin is action with an attitude that separates us from God, bringing us down. It brings people around us down and in the process, brings God down.

God created us and everything and His impeccable Word. Your words can be destructive to you and to others or they can do good. Tell a young boy that he will do good in math because his father was good at math and he will excel in math. Tell him that he will never be good in math, and he will fail math unless he has a strong inner spirit to desire to excel.

Criticism can be harmful. You words are powerful. Some writers express their opinion. We have to look beyond the words and find the truth. The key to good spiritual health is finding the truth in everything. Our words should be impeccable. Be yourself; God made you and gave you the power to love. Guard the power you have. Recognize what you are saying; is it for good or for bad? Guard your words and make them impeccable.
