Antonio Herrera

Antonio Herrera, of Pontotoc, passed away on Friday, July 2, at the age of 82 in a tragic car accident.

He was born on September 2, 1927, in Fredonia to Victor Herrera Sr. and Concepcion Herrera. He lived in Mason County his entire life. He worked on water wells and was a rancher.

Antonio was a member of the Catholic Church. He loved to garden, visit with his family and friends, and enjoyed riding around in his golf cart.

Antonio is survived by two sisters, Pauline Castro of Dallas and Maria Torres of Brady, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

An all day celebration of his life will be on Saturday, July 10 at the Pontotoc Community Building with a prayer service at 2:00 p.m. The service will be conducted by Oscar Herrera.
