The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, July 6th, for its monthly business meeting. There were 34 members and no visitors in attendance.

"Boss" Lion John Gammill was responsible for the program and Sec./Tres. Gene Gammill read the minutes and gave the financial report. The directors voted to make a 100% donation to all the Lions Charities and pay down the Peda-Vision note to 1,500.00. A Hamburger Lunch is being planned for the end of August or 1st of September, more information as this time nears.

The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, July 13, at noon at Zavala's. The program Chairman will be Larry Spell.

The Mason Lions has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
