Tarleton Releases Distinguished Students’ List

STEPHENVILLE, TX (07/14/2010)— Tarleton State University has released the Distinguished Students list for the spring 2010 semester. Students on the list include freshman and sophomore students who have a minimum 3.25 grade point ratio (GPR) and no grade lower than a ‘C,’ and juniors and seniors who have a minimum 3.5 GPR with no grade lower than a ‘C.’ All must be in good standing with the university.

Students making the list include the following:

Austen King of Mason, is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus.

Logan Toone of Mason, is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus.

Founded in 1899, Tarleton is one of the fastest growing institutions of higher learning in Texas. Just one hour, Tarleton serves as the educational and cultural flagship of the Cross Timbers Region. It is located in Stephenville, which is included in Norman Crampton’s "The 100 Best Small Towns in America" published by Prentice Hall.
