Llano Fine Arts Demo on Aug. 2nd by Peggy Marlow

Llano Fine Arts Guilld is pleased to present Peggy Marlow as our guest artist on Monday, August 2nd.The demo begins at 10 AM. This will be a "hands on" program using oils as Peggy’s medium of choice.

Peggy Marlow is a native Texan from Houston. She has been painting for more than thirty years Peggy has won many awards in Texas, Florida and across the USA. She also designs and makes unique one of a kind fused glass jewelry Peggy Marlow likes using and exploring all the different mediums, including oil, watercolor , pastels and liquid acrylics. Peggy loves bright colors and paints contemporary realism.

One of her favorite subjects to paint are pet portraits. Peggy also paints landscapes, florals, and wonderful skies!!!! Her colors are vibrant, ranging from bright to soft and mellow. We look forward to this "hands on" program.

As for supplies, some will be provided, but mainly we will all share with each other. Please bring your favorite brushes, paper towels, etc. The colors will be simple—red, yellow, blue, white and burnt sienna. Any other colors you wish , may also come in handy. The support will need to be a canvas or canvas board 9"X 12" or no smaller than 8"X 10". We will be using odorless turp, some of us are chemically senitive.

The Llano Fine Arts Gallery is located at 503 Bessemer, next to Chrissy’s Bakery. LFAG phone is 1-325-247-4839 for more information. There will be a "pot luck lunch" following the demo. The $5 donation covers the demo and pot luck lunch. Llano Fine Arts Guild is a non profit organization. The Public is encouraged to come and participate. Come to learn, stay for the food and fellowship!!! We look forward to seeing all of you.
