Mrs. Dan Geistweidt nee Betty Irene Webster of Fredericksburg, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010 in the Knopp Healthcare & Rehab Center in Fredericksburg, at the age of 75 years.

Betty was born November 30th, 1934, in Winter Haven, Florida, the daughter of Daniel Webster and Myrtle Boyette Webster. In her younger years was employed at the New York Stock Exchange, also a manager at Tampa Electric Co., Tampa, Florida, married Dan, April 27, 1957, in the Methodist Church in Tampa, Florida. Was a long time member of the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, and Texas Deer Assoc.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Linda Perez.

Betty is survived by the following, her husband Dan of Fredericksburg, One daughter, one son and spouses, Dana & Ross Albrecht of College Station, Brent & Pam Geistweidt of Fredericksburg, Grandchildren, Tyler and Tia Williamson and Parker and Colton Geistweidt, Brother, James Webster of Clearwater, Florida.

Funeral services for Betty Geistweidt will be held on Saturday, July 31st, 2010 at 10:00 A. M. in the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, with Rev. Pam Traver officiating.

Graveside services and Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Fredericksburg.

Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society, Doss Volunteer Fire Dept., or to the charity of their choice.

Visitation for Betty Geistweidt will be from 5 to 8:00 P. M. Friday afternoon in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg and from 9 to 10:00 A. M. Saturday morning in the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church.
