"Mysteries and Legends of Texas" Booksigning at Cat’s Meow, Tuesday, August 17, 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Noted Texana author, Donna Ingham, will be in Mason on Tuesday, August 17. Her newest book, Mysteries and Legends of Texas, has just been released. Published by Globe Piquot Press, this book explores unusual phenomena, strange events, and enigmas in Texas’ history. According to the publisher, "Each episode in the book is a story unto itself and the tone and style of the book is lively and easy to read."

You are invited to meet the author at a book signing at The Cat’s Meow between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. In addition, the public is invited to hear Ingham speak at the Annual Membership Meeting of the Mason County Historical Society that evening, Tuesday, August, 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria. Her topic comes from the new book and is one of the favorite historical mysteries of our area: "The Lost San Saba Silver Mines."
