Class of 1985 Celebrates 25th Reunion
Wednesday, August 11, 2010 • Posted August 11, 2010

Mason High School 1985 graduates met at Sandstone Cellars Winery on Saturday of Rodeo Round Up weekend. A total of 17 classmates were there to catch up and reminisce over old times. Food from Santos Taqueria located next to the winery was served.

Pieces of conversation could be overhead from teasing about expanding waistlines to disbelief some of us are already grandparents. There were updates on current job situations. One family is even looking forward to retirement in a couple of years with a chance to move back to Mason. We discussed kids in college while a baby stroller was pushed through with a classmate’s toddlers inside.

It was clear as we talked about our lives a vast array of circumstances have come our way as individuals. Something else was apparent too; we still felt a collective bond through the shared experiences of growing up and attending school together in a small tight knit community. We toast to our great beginning together, the journeys we are still discovering and future opportunities to stay connected.

Former classmates should visit our Facebook page at Mason High School Class of 85. We need current contact information for several people.
