Ai-yi-yi.

Heib.

Caldo.

Chaud.

Tiempo caliente.

Tempo quente.

Hot weather.

No kidding.

102.

105.

97.

100.

95.

101.

92.

Brrrr…almost need a sweater.

After triple digits, 92 feels good.

A breeze helps too.

So does shade.

And rain.

Wherever that may be.

Maybe we’ll get some.

This week, if we’re lucky.

Cool the cows.

Ease the earth.

Fried.

Crispy.

Brown.

Swimming, shorts, barefoot, flip-flops.

Too hot to play outside.

Too hot to stay outside.

Too hot to walk.

Too hot to talk.

So hot the Dairy Queen ran out of ice cream.

Even tap water is warm.

Bring on the ice cubes.

Weber Chevron or Short Stop or Town and Country or Nuway or Super S sells bags of ice.

Or get a cold drink at PJ’s.

And sip it inside their air-conditioned shop.

Let August blaze with summer heat.

Go ahead, burn yourself out.

We know Autumn is just around the corner.

May it arrive in a blaze of glory.

A cooler, colorful blaze.

Please.

That’s Mason.
