Volunteers Still Needed To Assist With Early Memory Loss Adult Day Program

Big-hearted volunteers are still needed to assist with a new adult day program called F.A.B.B, short for Fredericksburg Adult Brain Boosters.

This program is designed for Hill Country citizens with Early Memory Loss related Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or other conditions that make it unsafe for them to be on their own.

The Paige House, a luxury retirement living facility, will offer the program starting Monday, September 13

With the help of volunteers, F.A.B.B. will provide a supervised program in a lovely, safe environment, with special activities designed to promote social interaction, peer support, self-help skills and just plain fun. Participants will discuss current events, socialize, and work oversized group puzzles and crosswords. Indoor exercise sessions, sing-along’s, games, arts and crafts, snacks, and a really great lunch will be provided.
