Mason County Historical Society to Hold Special Membership Meeting September 14

The Mason County Historical Society will be holding a special membership meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14 at the Eckert Civic Center. The purpose of the meeting will be to elect Directors and Officers for the coming year. All members are encouraged to attend. If not currently a member of the Historical Society, you can join at the meeting.

Following the membership meeting will be the regular monthly Board of Directors meeting of the Historical Society.

The Mason County Historical Society is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization that promotes and maintains historical activities and artifacts related to Mason County. Fort Mason, the Mason County Museum, and the Mason Square Museum are all parts of the Historical Society. Membership is open to anyone interested in the history of Mason County. If interested in joining, you can contact Charles Pluenneke, Chair of the Membership Committee (347-5581). Dues are only $10 per person per year. Donations are also always welcomed.
