Wednesday, September 22, 2010 • Posted September 22, 2010

As you visit Super S Foods, the Mason Courthouse Square and other locations over the next few weeks, you’ll see representatives of The American Legion Fort Mason Post 285 displaying the Fall Fundraiser prize and taking donations for raffle tickets. This year’s raffle prize is a Remington .270 Bolt Action Rifle with a RealTree Camo stock and a Bushnell 3x9 – 40mm scope. Raffle tickets are $3.00 each or 4 tickets for $10. The raffle drawing will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13th, at The American Legion Post Hall, 237 Post Hill Road (behind the Jail), time TBA. You do NOT have to be present at the drawing to win the raffle prize. The American Legion is a 501C (19) organization and donations are tax deductible.

Thank you to all the folks who have already made donations and many thanks to the Mason County family for their generous support of local veterans. For more information on the programs of The American Legion, please contact Lawrence Spell, 429-6224, or Mike Shanley, 347-9016.
