VFW Post 8554 Announces Veterans Day Flag Decommissioning Ceremony

The VFW Post 8554, in conjunction with Mason Boy Scouts and The American Legion Fort Mason Post 285, will be sponsoring a Flag Decommissioning Ceremony to be held on Thursday, Nov. 11th, following the Veterans Day Ceremony & Rifle Salute, which starts at 11:30 am. The Veterans Day Ceremony will take place at the Mason County Veterans Memorial, Courthouse Lawn.

Mason County residents are asked to give their old flags to any VFW, American Legion or Boy Scout member, or to bring their old flags to the Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11th.
