The 4th Annual Gem of the Hill Country 5&10k a great Success!
"Great Race! Great Volunteers. Well worth the trip." Said San Angelo’s Jared Eggemeyer. "See you next year," said Austin’s Doug Yeager. "And we’ll be sure to spread the word."
The Lions Club’s Gem of the Hill Country’s 5&10 couldn’t have happened on a more perfect October morning. Runners and walkers passed through the southern neighborhoods of our town and up beside Ft Mason, one of the most beautiful views in the hill country.
"The race went smoothly from start to finish," according to Race Director Eva Tannehill. "As usual, we couldn’t have pulled it off without the strong support of our sponsors, our community, and the hard work of our volunteers." Thank you, Sponsors, and thank you, Mason. Next year will be even better!
Gem of the Hill Country 5/10k’s Race Director, Eva Tannehill, presents the overall 10k Master Female trophy to Mason’s own Lynn Hedges. Great Job, Lynn!
