Hospital Welcomes Primary Care Physician to Medical Staff
Wednesday, October 20, 2010 • Posted October 20, 2010

Hill Country Memorial Hospital has approved staff privileges for Katherine W. Pearson, DO.

Dr. Pearson’s clinic is in the Perry-Feller building, at 205 W. Windcrest, Suite 130 in Fredericksburg. She also practices in Kerrville on Tuesdays at 1331 Bandera Hwy, Suite 3.

Her areas of expertise include preventative care, diabetes management, geriatrics, osteopathic manipulative medicine (to treat musculoskeletal pain), and family planning.

Dr. Pearson is a recent graduate of the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, and she is dually board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

As a longtime admirer of the Hill Country, she and her husband Zachary were thrilled when the opportunity arose to move to Fredericksburg. Since her practice opened in August, "we have been able to fill a need for primary care doctors in this growing community."

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Pearson’s philosophy is simple, but effective: "If you just listen to the patient in a supportive manner, they will tell you exactly what their needs are."

Anyone seeking a primary care physician may schedule an appointment with Dr. Pearson by calling (830) 990-1404 or toll-free 1-800-899-7256.
