The National Honor Society of Mason High School will be sponsoring a blood drive on Friday, November 12th, from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m., in the High School Commons area.
On the day of the blood drive, potential donors will receive a mini-physical consisting of blood pressure, temperature, pulse and iron level check. In addition, donors will receive a free t-shirt.
All donors must be at least 16 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be in general good health, and must NOT have donated blood in the past eight weeks. A photo ID and list of countries yu have visited in the last 12 months is also required. Sixteen year old donors must have a parent/guardian sign a Minor Donor Permit in order to participate in the blood drive. These permits can be picked up at the school office.
The blood drive is being conducted by the United Blood Services of San Angelo which provides blood and blood components to ten area hospitals
