Drennan ~ Halamicek Wedding

Kaylee Jan Drennan and Robert Brandon Halamicek were united in marriage on Saturday, July 17, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church in Brady, Texas, with the Pastor Alan Delafield officiating. Kaylee is the daughter of Brent and Mitzi Drennan of Mason, TX, and the granddaughter of Buck and Jan Owens of Barnhart, and Glenda Drennan and the late Ray Drennan of Wolfforth, Texas. Honorary grandparents were Lee and Linnda Graham of Mason, TX.

Robert (Bobby) is the son of Forrester and Mary Ellen Halamicek of Llano, and the grandson of Mrs. Marilyn Perry of Llano, Richard Perry of Carlsbad,NM, and Mrs. Ella Mae and the late Lloyd Halamicek of Fredericksburg, TX.

Music selections were provided by Mrs. Mary Ann Smith and scripture reading by Holly Stewart, both of Brady.

Maid of Honor was the bride’s sister, Kristi Drennan, of Lubbock. Bridesmaids were Darci Owens of Wooster, OH, Whitney Schneemann of San Angelo, Myghan Willis of Abilene, and Jes Enger of Brady. Flower girls were cousins of the bride, Macy and Jenae Fugitt of Cimarron, KS. Friend of the couple, Carter Humphreys of Brady served as candle lighter.

Best Man was the groom’s brother, Mark Halamicek of Hewitt, TX. Groomsmen were Jason Lodge of Tyler, Eric Kalmbach of Dallas, Jesse Willis of Myrtle Beach, SC , and Lynsie Blau of Menard. Ushers included Jeff Moss of Frisco, Tanner Owens of Lubbock, Corey Owens of San Angelo, Stephen Corkill of Ft. Worth, and Will Enger of Brady. Ring bearer was Lizzie Steadham, friend of the couple, also of Brady.

Following a wonderful rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents, all enjoyed a competitive game of softball, which included many thrills and spills. Both young and old enjoyed a night of laughter and good times among old friends and new friends. A bridal luncheon hosted by Glenda Drennan and D’Layne Eschleman was given the day of the wedding in honor of the bride. Following the church ceremony, a dinner and street dance at The Patio on Church Street was enjoyed by all.

Kaylee is a 2003 graduate of Mason High School and earned her B.S. in education from Angelo State University. Bobby is a 2000 graduate of Menard High School and earned his B.A. in Music from Texas Tech University. The couple enjoyed a Caribbean cruise honeymoon and now reside in Brady, TX, where they are both teachers at Brady ISD.
