Denva Louise Eckert

Denva Louise Eckert, 95, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010.

Denva Louise Eckert was born June 6, 1915, to Emma Granstaff and Noah Bedford in Weatherford. She married Walter Eckert on Sept. 2, 1933. They were married 64 years.

Denva was confirmed in the Lutheran church in 1947. She served as Sunday school teacher, in the Altar Guild and, with Walter, as Luther League sponsor. She was a lifetime member of ELCA Lutheran Women.

Graveside servicewas held at 10 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Memorial Park with a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church.
