National Honor Society Blood Drive

The National Honor Society of Mason High School will be sponsoring a Blood Drive Friday, November 12th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the high school commons area. On the day of the drive, donors will receive a mini-physical consisting of blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and iron level check. In addition, donors will receive a t-shirt. All donors must be at least 16 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be in general good health, and must NOT have donated blood within the past eight weeks. A picture I.D. and list of countries you have visited in the last 12 months is also required.Sixteen year old donors must have a parent/guardian sign a Minor Donor Permit in order to participate in the blood drive. These permits can be picked up at the high school office.

ATTENTION: Donations can be credited to Jacob Bibb upon request.

The blood drive is being conducted by the United Blood Services of San Angelo which provides blood and blood components to ten area hospitals.

Make an appointment if you wish to be taken before "walk-ins." Donors can visit www.UnitedBloodServices.org or call the high school at 347-1122 ext.3 to reserve a time. Find the hero in you, and together we can make your donation safe, fun and as quick as possible!
