Wednesday, November 10, 2010 • Posted November 10, 2010

Peg Davis, author of the popular "Napoleon and Marigold" series of children's books, will be in Mason at Market Square on Saturday to sign copies of her books. She will be on hand from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., and copies of the books will be available for purchase.

"Napoleon and Marigold" is the ongoing tales of a rooster and a hen and the adventures they have living on a west Texas farm. The first book was followed by "After the Storm - A Napoleon and Marigold Adventure" and that was followed by her latest release, "The Potter's Cat," a departure from the "Napoleon..." series.

"The Potter's Cat" tells the story of a rescued kitten who becomes fast friends with his new owner, a potter. The kitten, Shards, becomes involved in his owner's artwork, adding his distinctive paw prints to the master's work.

Market Square owner, Wendy Hudson, invites everyone to stop by and meet Peg Davis, and to enjoy these delightful stories that appeal to young and old alike.
