We have been saying it was going to happen - this time it is for REAL!

Thursday, December 2nd, 7 p.m. at the Odeon - Mark your calendars now!!

By DONATION ONLY - that’s right - there is No Charge for this event - give as much as you can or as little as you want! Any level of donation will be happily accepted.

First Come, First Served seating will be available with the doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

As part of the Odeon Preservation Association’s (OPA) effort to use the theater facility as often as possible and in as many appropriate and varied uses as the facility will accommodate, we are offering this film and another film early next year (to be chosen by the attendees of this showing). We want to see if the community is interested in seeing classic films, your favorite films, foreign films, or films of topical importance on the big screen with the full theater sound system to support that showing. Yes - this is a fun alternative to viewing a film at home. At the Odeon you get to see a great film with 200 of your friends!

You may have noticed if you have been to the movies within the last few weeks that the sound system has been improved. With the advice and financial help of Dickensheets Design Associates out of Austin and the installation of sound baffles on the back wall of the theater, we have made a giant improvement in the acoustical quality of the theater - for movies, the Mason Opry, and our house concerts!

Come see a great film on December 2nd and support the OPA’s continuing effort to improve the quality of the theater facility for your entertainment enjoyment!!!
