Howard Allen Molzan lived most of his life near Cleveland, Ohio; he was born on July 16, 1919, married Margaret Catherine Humpal in 1942, and they later raised their two daughters in Maple Heights, Ohio.
He enjoyed his job and co-workers at NASA’s Lewis Research Center where for almost 30 years he fabricated experimental models for some of the early space programs. He was creative, liked building and fixing projects, plus loved sharing the outdoors with his family and dogs by hiking, camping, and capturing it with his camera.
His last sojourn to Texas was poignant with old age creeping in, but he loved drives through the hill country and seeing the cattle and deer. He experienced true Texas hospitality from the wonderful people who worked at the Mason Care Center and later Llano’s Hill Country Health Care Center. Please remember Howard with a smile.
He died gently in his sleep on November 10, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughters Janice and husband Carl Schmidt of Alliance, Ohio; and Donna and husband Pete Hunt, of Art, Texas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and sister Evelyn Vitt of Cleveland, Ohio.
Funeral arrangements made under the direction of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Homes, Inc. Llano, Texas. E-mail condolences may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or you may log onto our website, www.whhfuneralhome.com for online condolences.
