The 7th Grade Football team finished out their first season this past Thursday evening. The Blizzards from Winters came to call.

Winters wasted no time in putting points on the board. In the first period the Blizzards launched a scoring drive that covered 64 yards. The point after was good and Winters lead 0-8.

Mason moved the ball for a couple of first downs but was eventually stopped near mid-field. The Blizzards then broke on a long run off tackle which finished out the scoring not only for the half but for game.

The Punchers played some very good defense in the second half holding the Blizzards in check, but Winters also played well keeping the Punchers out of their end zone. Final score, 0-16.

In spite of this final score, the young Punchers did a great job this year. They finished out the season 4-4-1. In three of the games they played, teams had to add several 8th graders to their line-up. These guys worked hard and were a pleasure to be with. The future looks very bright for these Punchers.
