Dayna Haines: An Author & An Artist!
Wednesday, December 8, 2010 • Posted December 8, 2010

Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country member, Dayna Haines, stands proudly holding her new book entitled When I in Awestruck Wander. The book is a collaboration between Dayna Haines and Celeita Leifeste, a local photographer from Castell. The poetic text written by Dayna is in a traditional Japanese style called Haiku.

The book focuses on Hill Country images and is the outcome of both authors’ love of nature and their recognition of God’s handiwork surrounding them every day.

Dayna is a High School art teacher in Llano. She combines her gift of writing with drawing, watercolors, bookmaking and other media.

Dayna had a book signing in Mason on Nov.27 and will be having a book signing in Llano Dec. 12 at Llano High School.

To purchase a copy you may contact Dayna at 325-347-2108.
