The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, December 14th, for its annual Christmas party at the Richard P. Eckert Civic Center. There were 40 members and 28 visitors in attendance.

"Boss" Lion John Gammill was responsible for the program and introduced Dawn Hahn, Mason I.S.D. music teacher, who brought her 4th grade music class. They performed a Christmas skit, along with some "jazzed up" Christmas carols. The program was very enjoyable and everyone had a good time.

The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, December 21st, at noon at Zavala's. The program chairman will be Lee Graham.

The Mason Lions has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
