Pastor Mark’s sermon Sunday was "A New Time, A New Life"; Eccl 3:1-15. Have you ever had one of those days when it seems everything is going wrong? Well, King Solomon in the book of Ecclesiastes addresses these kind of things. King Solomon was a very wise man. When he was a young man he had asked God for the gift of wisdom and God gave him an exceptional wisdom. In this passage, he shares his wisdom and truth. Not in random ideas but a statement: There is a season for everything. We are a the beginning of a God given gift of a new year. Do we return to the habits of of last year, the busyness, the unfullfillment, the void in our lives, or do we choose a new way of seeing and doing? Choosing to seek God’s will for our life and for everything in it. Choosing the happiness that God has made available to us. Giving thanks for God’s Grace and the creation around us. Mason County has such awesome sunsets, rainbows, and the night sky is full of a billion twinkling stars. Ask God for His presence in your life. Then listen with intent. Make spending time with God your top priority. Christ came that we might have an abundant life. Even in the midst of the turmoil of today’s unknowns, the situation is not hopeless! It is not easy but it is possible. Ask Jesus Christ for the new life He intends for you, then choose it. God Still Reigns.

Y’all have a great week.
