Mason County Names New Librarian - News - Mason County News

Some of the members of the search committee for a new librarian were on hand at Commissioners' Court on Monday to offer their candidate, and, after approval, to welcome her to the position. Left to right: Beth Reardon, Maribelle Hoerster, Patti Grote (librarian), Mary Jo Cockrell and Mary Freytag.

The Mason County Commissioners and the Board of the Mason County M. Beven Eckert Library are pleased to introduce our new Librarian, Patti Grote, a new resident of the county. Mrs. Grote has worked as a high school English teacher, covering AP classes to remedial reading at Wall High School for the past 18 years. Previously, she was a Special Education teacher.

Patti Grote and her husband, Craig, a Mason native, recently moved to Mason.
