Mason Bluebonnet Study Club News

The Mason Bluebonnet Study Club will hold the first meeting of 2011 on January 17 at the Richard P. Eckert Building beginning at 2:00 pm. Since February is Black History month, only a few days away, the subject to be explored is a historical perspective of early black settlers in the area. Local historian Jane Hoerster will present facts and lead discussion on the subject.

Maudi Bergmann willl serve as hostess.

The Mason Bluebonnet Study Club was organized and became a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs in 1941 and has continuously served the community over the past 70 years. The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international service organization. Community members are welcome to attend any meeting of the group and members are being sought to join in the fun and service.
