It’s so wonderful to once again have children at church. They assist with candle lighting and each has their own unique contribution to the services. We have Sunday School and Children’s church and we all pull together to meet the needs of the children. We are blessed.

There is a Trustees' meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday Jan. 19th. Please remember to sign up for the flower calendar.

Our many joys are pictures from the Mexico shoebox ministry along with their appreciation for all that was done; for the rains; for the beautiful morning; and for the assistance and support for the veterans hunt.

Those folks celebrating their special day this week are Dorothy Johnson on the 19th, John Koock on the 21st, Ruby Toeppich on the 22nd, Billy Wayne Koock also on the 22nd, and Hillary Bibb on the 23rd. Josh and Lorien Calhoun are celebrating their anniversary on the 25th. Congratulations all!

Please pray for healing for Sophia Jordan, Emeth Bauer, Beth L. Alm, and Caroline Jordan. Continue to pray for healing and comfort for Ken Stahl, Tommy Ruffolo, Betty Kitchen, Emilio Mutis, Jacob Bibb, Tommy Garrett, Paul Toeppich, and Kendra Kensing Code.

Please pray for the safety and health for our service men and women wherever they are deployed.

We ask you all to remember our home bound and those in the nursing homes. These are some wonderful people that we miss when they are not able to be with us.

Rev. Mark’s sermon was "Limitless God", Acts 12:1-12. God and His power will not be limited. Even when we try to put or keep Him in a box, He continues to do His will. There is no limit to what God can do through us. It doesn’t matter that we are not "perfect". God used Peter to minister to the Gentiles even though Peter had denied Jesus 3 times. Peter had true faith in the Lord Jesus. So, it is up to us to choose to believe and to be obedient to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Oh by the way, Tad Leifeste asked me to send his thanks to a couple of ladies from church for their ministry of food!

Y’all have a great week and let it rain!
