It is certainly nice that the days are getting longer (slowly but steadily). For those with fruit trees the freeze hours should encourage fruit set. Personally, I’m very glad we don’t live in the frozen, snowed-in areas. But please pray for rain.
Celebrating birthdays this week are Matt Jordan on the 26th, Scott Ceynowa also on the 26th, and Lena Slocum Walker on the 28th. Then on February 1st Marian Leifeste, Nea Young, and Tina C. Sanders all are celebrating their birthdays! Hope you all have a wonderful, enjoyable day.
Happy Anniversary this week to Jeff and Judy Kingston on the 27th.
Several announcements for Art UMC members: on Wednesday January 26th there will be a Finance Committee meeting at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Men’s choir practice at 6:30 p.m. Those of you who haven’t signed up for the flower calendar-there’s still room for you!
A joy: so glad Ruby Toeppich is back home feeling better. Please continue to pray for healing and comfort for Sophia Jordan and Sara Dixon.
Remember to pray for our folks in the nursing homes and those that are home- bound, they are special people.
Please remember our military men and women as they serve our country, pray for their safety and health. Pray also for their families in this time of separation.
