It was SO cold.

How cold was it?

From below zero up.

And nobody could do a dang thing about it.

That’s Mother Nature for ya.

She’s the Boss.

A humbling one at that.

Phones quit working.

Water pipes burst.

Propane tanks emptied.

Even the fax machine froze.

And that was here.

Not north.

Not the Northeast.

Not the North Pole.

Here.

Mother Nature riding high.

On her wicked wintery ride.

Busting pipes like they were broncos.

EeeeHA.

Ice.

Snow.

Icicles.

Frost.

Frozen water.

And lots of thirsty critters.

Even the birds were knocking at my door.

Calls for help went far and wide.

Martin’s Plumbing.

Keith Higdon.

Hahn Services.

Mason Gas.

Jimmy’s Plumbing.

Community Service & Supply.

Mason Feed.

Yet we were lucky.

We were blessed.

Destructive winds hit further east.

And power outages left thousands in the dark.

Without heat.

But don’t exhale yet.

Another cold front’s due.

Any day.

Any hour.

Uh oh.

Any minute…

That’s Mason.
