Mason Lions Roar

The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, February 1st, for its monthly business meeting. There were 36 members and 4 visitors in attendance. Among the visitors were 2 Mason High School seniors, Myles Banner and Alexanderia Martinez.

"Boss" Lion John Gammill was responsible for the program, and Secretary/Treasurer Gene Gammill read the minutes and gave the financial report. The Pancake Supper was cancelled and rescheduled for February 8th during the Center Point basketball games at the High School games and Commons Area.

The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, February 8th, at noon at Zavala's. The program chairman will be Kendal Hemphill.

The Mason Lions has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
