Hill Country University Center, with its partners Texas Tech University (TTU) at Fredericksburg and Austin Community College (ACC), will present the information session: "Navigating the College Financial Aid Process" on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the Hill Country University Center, 2818 E. US HWY 290 in Fredericksburg at 5:30 p.m. High school students and their parents as well as adults who are planning to attend any college are invited to participate in this session.

Financial aid advisors from TTU will present a program on understanding financial aid from 5:30-6:00. Participants may then use computers at the center to work on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is the form that all students applying for college financial aid must complete to determine eligibility.

ACC will have their Mobile Go Van, equipped with additional computers and manned by a financial aid advisor, for students to complete their FAFSA and college applications. Assistance with FAFSA will also be available in Spanish.

TTU and ACC advisors from these colleges will present information and answer questions about degree programs available in Fredericksburg at the Hill Country University Center. Participants may also tour the campus.
