Grants Available from Mason Community Foundation
Wednesday, February 9, 2011 • Posted February 9, 2011

There is still time to complete an application for the Spring grant deadline for the Mason Community Foundation. The last day grant requests will be accepted is March 1, but the application is simple with less than a dozen questions.

The Foundation has funds available from the profits of the Thrift Store for projects sponsored by non-profit organizations that will benefit the Mason community. Many different groups have benefitted in the past with grants from a few hundred dollars to as much as five thousand dollars, and Mason as a whole has received the benefit of over $106,000 during the past four years.

If your group has an idea or project that could use some extra funding, please stop by the Thrift Store and pick up an application; and if you have questions please contact the Foundation President Brent Hinckley or the Grant Committee Chair D’Ann Stahl.
