The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, February 8th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting. There were 39 members in attendance.

Lion Kendal Hemphill was responsible for the program and he entertained us with his guitar and humor. He played and sang several songs and told a little about each song.

Lion Nolan Donop was back with us after a short illness and we were really glad to have him back.

Brad Glas, who was a visotor last week, filed an application to become a member. Welcome Brad, we are happy to have you.

The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, February 15th, at noon at Zavala's. The program chairman will be Brent Hinckley.

The Mason Lions has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
