The Punchers traveled to Goldthwaite for their last contest this season. I guess you could say these guys really did save their best game for last.

The Eagles hit the floor running with an impressive group of rather large players, and outscored the Punchers 3-6 in the first period, but the Punchers re-grouped and put eleven points on the board in the 2nd quarter while holding the Eagles to 9 points. Goldthwaite made a hot run in the 3rd period putting 12 points on the board to Mason’s 9 points. The final stanza was really the difference with the Punchers pressing and scoring eleven points and shutting the Eagles down to only two points. Final score, Mason 34, Goldthwaite 29.

Keep your eyes on these Punchers, good things are in their future. Again we would like to thank all of the faithful parents that traveled all over the state to support these guys. The Punchers were second in district with a 9-5 record.
