The Mason United Methodist Women hosted the San Angelo District meeting on Saturday, February 19th.
Diane Simpson, president of the San Angelo district, presided. Methodist pastor gave the welcome and opened the meeting with prayer. Marilyn Kahan provided the organ music.
Kendra Klaerner accompanied herself on the piano as she sant "The Prayer." Rev. Mal Heirholzer of Hilda announced the CROP Walk being held on February 26 at Schreiner University in Kerrville. He invited walkers to participate.
Spiritual Enrichment and Leadership was the topic of certified Lay Leader, Sherry Peyton.
The Concho Valley Home for Girls was represented by Sammye Ruppeck. She expressed her appreciation for all the cosmetic articles that were donated by those attending.
Hilda issued the invitation to host the district's September meeting.
Churches represented were from Art, Bronte, San Angelo, Brady, Eden, Hilda, Junction, Sonora, Menard, Miles and Robert Lee.
Sixty three women enjoyed the lunch catered by Pattie Allen of PJ's. The guests were given "goodie bags" provided by Mason National Bank and The Commercial Bank.
