Dear Editor,

We Masonites had an invitation to hear a group of, senior adults, on Mon. Feb. 21, 2011 at 6:30 pm, at River of Life Church, sponsored by our Mason Chamber of Commerce.

The group is called Young at Heart Ministry Choir, they range in age 74-85 in this group but some are older. They are from Albuquerque, N.M., so while traveling through Mason (on a 12 day tour) destination Houston, Tx., they wanted to share some good old gospel music with us.

They are a non-profit organization, each of them pay their own way as they make a "joyful" "noise" "beautiful music for audiences" to enjoy.

Although the Choir out-numbered the audience, that didn't matter to them - they performed a fantastic concert and asked for nothing in return. They said they would love to come back to Mason again, if we would have them - they really enjoyed being in our little town - perhaps you noticed their 2-white buses parked on west side of our square - and they went walking all over downtown-

So folks, if we are priveleged to have Young at Heart Ministry Choir in our town again, I hope you will circle your calendar date - in red, you'll be greatly blessed to hear these ladies and gentlemen -

Hats, off to Young at Heart Ministry Choir

Thank you

and God Bless You,

Earlene Bode
