Through the years, both Sarah and Suzan have served as the fire mother. Also the Grosse family has a rich history in the Mason V.F.D. Alex E. Grosse joined in about 1919, Alex H. in 1950s, Charlie in 1980s and Howard in 2000. Along the way, Alma, Jackie and Dana have served as fire mothers and Jaclyne has been the Fire Mascot.
The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, March 1st, at noon at Zavala's. The program will be the monthly business meeting.
The Mason Lions has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
