The little shower Saturday morning was a tease, but it was nice to be reminded of the sound of rain on the tin roof. The peach tree in the front yard seems to think it’s spring, and it has started to bloom, now it just needs some more refreshing rain from God. Keep praying, it’s coming!

Happy Birthday to Cindy Jordan Ashby on the 9th and Jill Kettner Cochran on the 14th. Celebrating their anniversary on the 11th are Nathaniel and Wanda Jordan. I hope you have a lovely day.

We all have so many loved ones that need our prayers; family who are recovering from surgeries or illnesses, friends w ho are suffering with long term health concerns. I know, I have seen, prayer work. Let’s keep praying for Ruby Toeppich, Etta Marie Mutschink, Caroline Jordan, Jordan Davis, Pearl Leifeste, Ken Stahl, Anna Grace Durst, Jane Krause, Kendra Kensing Code, Paul Toeppich, Tommy Ruffolo, Dick Pierson, Betty Kitchen, Jacob Bibb, Tommy Garrett, Sara Krause, and Tad Leifeste. Speaking of my dad, he’s doing very well. I have to keep reminding him not to over do it. He’s having in home physical therapy for a couple more weeks, working hard between visits and I’m sure he’ll be very happy when he’s fully recovered and can use his new shoulder fully.

Never forget our soldiers as they serve our country. And also remember the family they have left behind to do their duty. It can’t be easy to be so far away, especially when the serviceman or woman is serving in a dangerous area. Please pray for the safe return of Josh Calhoun, Amanda Adams, Taylor Slocum, Kyle Pierce, Matt Krause and Stuart Jordan.

The church isn’t just a building, it’s a place where we go to reignite our spirit. A place where our heart is filled and transformed, and we take from it the love to make a difference in the world around us. Remember the blessings in your life and share the gifts you’ve been given with the world around you.
