Wednesday, March 23, 2011 • Posted March 23, 2011

The Mason Cowgirls continue to receive post-season honors, which are a direct result of all the Cowgirls’ hard work & dedication. The honors are a tribute to all the Cowgirls—JV White, JV Purple & Varsity. The more successful a team is & the more respect a program earns, the more individual honors are received.

The Cowgirls finished the season 26-8 and advanced 3 rounds in the state playoffs. In state rankings, the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches have the Cowgirls ranked 10th and on the Cowgirls are ranked 11th. The Cowgirls also have received individual honors from the TABC: Shayla Estes—All Region, Kaitlyn Cavness—All Region, & Margaret Lemke—All Region & All State.
