Hill Country Cattlewomen 2008 Scholarship Awards

The Hill Country Cattlewomen recently awarded scholarships totaling $22,000 to 14 very deserving students.

Eight scholarships were awarded to students majoring in an agricultural field. Winners were Emilie Bibb (Mason County), majoring in Agricultural Science, Texas A&M University; Kegan Crouch (Mason County) majoring in Animal Science at Angelo State University; Tana Dockal (Mason County), an Animal Science major at Texas A&M; Kelli Edwards (Llano County) majoring in Animal Science at Texas A&M; Kelly Haile (Kendall County), a major in Rangeland Ecology & Management at Texas A&M; Denae Henderson (Llano County) a Pre-Veterinary Medicine student at Tarleton State University; Carrie Koennecke (Kerr County) majoring in Natural Resource Management at Sul Ross State University; and Alison Lux (Kendall County) an Animal Science Major at Angelo State.

Six additional scholarships were awarded to students in other disciplines: Haley Adam (Kendall County), an Environmental Design major at Texas A&M; Crystal Funderburg (Kerr County), majoring in Education at Angelo State; Tiffany Kaspar (Llano County), majoring in Accounting at Texas A&M; Curt McKneely (San Saba County), an Education major at Angelo State; Natalie Sanders (Llano County), majoring in Chemistry at Southwestern University; and Davis Willman (Llano County), a Finance major at Texas A&M.
