Hill Country Cattlewomen's 27th Annual Style Show & Lunch

The Hill Country CattleWomen, a chapter of Texas CattleWomen, are pleased to announce their 27th Annual Style Show and Luncheon which willbe held on Tuesday, April 19th at the Inn of the Hills Resort and ConferenceCenter in Kerrville. Members are inviting friends and guests to attend and enjoy the latest in summer fashions presented by area boutiques, a great beef luncheon, and lots of fun. We will have our favorite Champagne Cowboys on duty and there will be lots of bidding going on with an outstanding Silent Auction and Raffle, and a Live Auction with tempting items.

This outstanding event is our annual fundraiser for our Scholarship Fund and the proceeds will be awarded to college applicants from the 14 county area we represent. These students must be a college level junior or above, and maintain a GPA of 2.8. The counties included are: Bandera, Blanco, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Llano, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Real, Northern Bexar, and San Saba. In 2010 scholarships were awarded to: Allison Lux of Kendalia, Madelon Osborne of Menard, Wesley Regmund and Jacob Wright of Llano, Allison Skeels of Boerne, Brittany Bateman of Fair Oaks Ranch, and Holly Moldenhauer of Comfort. Applications for the 2011 Scholarships can be obtained by contacting Erin Worrell at (830) 864-5161 or and need to be submitted by June 1st.

The theme for this years Style Show and Luncheon will be "Tropical" and we will be awarding a prize for the attendee best dressed in "Bling with a Tropical Flavor". Tickets are priced at $25.00 for individuals and the public is invited. Please contact Mary Jane Morrison at (830)249-0855 for information and tickets. Join us in your "tropical bling" starting at 10AM for bidding and visiting with the Champagne Cowboys popping corks at 10:30.
