March winds blew in the better part of February and have yet to blow on out. And, my records indicated thunder on the first of February and there was no frost on the first of April. Thus, the only indication of Spring is the pecan trees have budded out. I’m not counting on planting a garden. But if you are, I’d wait just a little bit.

Some say Spring is their favorite time of the year. My favorite time is when there are no snakes to worry about. No allergy causing plants. No grass to mow. No water hoses to have to pull around. No high eclectic bills to pay. Yep, Dead of Winter, Texas style!

Guess that’s why there are four seasons in the year. One of them has got to be your favorite!
